HENDERSON, MARY G., 91, of the Manors in Waterman Village, FL, passed away on Sunday March 19, 2006, after a period of declining health. She was born in Pike County, AL. to Marcus and Ethel Daniels, May 15, 1914. Her family moved to South Florida when she was a young girl, where she met her husband, John H. Henderson. She and her husband retired to Mount Dora in 1980. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Mary was a homemaker. She loved to travel and became an avid bridge player. She was a volunteer at Hospice "Hope Chest" for 10 years. She will be remembered by her family and friends for her generosity, cheerful nature and for her years as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and faithful friend. Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters: Sandra Beatty and husband John, of Eustis; Beverly Hiller and husband William, of Amelia Island; four granddaughters: Doris Morris, Kristen Metz, Patricia Johnston, and Shelly Fortenberry; and seven great-grandchildren: Amy, Andy, and Brad Morris, Tyler Metz, Lauren Johnston, Brandon Bersaglia and Madison Fortenberry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lake and Sumter County, 12300 Lane Park Rd., Tavares, FL 32778. Services were held at Allen J. Harden Funeral Home in Mount Dora at 2PM on Wednesday, April 5, 2006, with Chaplain Alan Jones officiating. The family received friends from 1PM until service time. Arrangements by ALLEN J.
