NORTHPORT Margaret C. Wade, age 82, of Northport, died Oct. 25, 2011, at Merrill Gardens in Northport. Services will be 2:00 p.m. today at Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Dr. Larry Corder officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Friday from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.She was preceded in death by her father, Felix A. Criswell; her mother, Minnie A. Criswell; her brothers, Vernon Criswell, Dick Criswell, F.A. Criswell, Ossie Criswell, and Clifford Criswell; her sisters, Mamie Autry and Oleta Hartley; and her husband, Thomas H. Wade.Survivors include her daughter, Amanda Wilson of Tuscaloosa; her sons, Barry Wade (Jeanne) of Northport and Joe Wade (Lindy) of Northport; her grandchildren, Shane Wade, Heather Sanford, Heath Wade, Jessica Wade, Chad Wade, Alex Wilson, and Eric Wilson; and five great-grandchildren.She worked at Gulf States Paper, Debra Knit, and the University of Alabama. She was a member of Alberta Baptist Church.Pallbearers will be Chad Wade, Eric Wilson, Alex Wilson, Heath Wade, Shane Wade, and Mark Sanford.Honorary pallbearers are George Dockery, Charlie Smith, members of Alberta Baptist Church, staff of Merrill Gardens, and Amedisys Hospice.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Alberta Baptist Church or to one's favorite charity.
