Crawford - Lucille Taylor, 84, died May 19, 2006 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Born in Hall County, she was the daughter of the late Jeff and Naomi Schuler Scott. She was also preceded in death by her son Jerry Taylor. She was a very devoted homemaker and a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include her husband, Oscar Taylor, children; Harold Taylor of Crawford, Betty Whittington of Colbert and Patsy Nation of Colbert, sister, Ellie Elliott of Gainesville, seven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held today, Sunday, May 21, 2006 at 2PM at Pentecost Church with Revs. Herman Nation and Butch Roberts officiating. Pallbearers will be Calvin Whittington, Mike Whittington, Tim Whittington, Jeff Scott, Mark Jones and Mike Johnson. Burial will be held at the church cemetery. Flowers are optional or memorials may be made to Pentecost Church. Lord & Stephens, Crawford is in charge of arrangements.
