MCKAY, Linda Anne August 7, 1947 – March 2, 2015 With profound sadness, I wish to advise the passing of Linda, wife of James Robert. She goes to join her beloved dog, Jenny Jack. Linda leaves behind a loving husband Jim, and many uncles, cousins and nieces. In her time on earth, she was successful at everything she did, as well as beating me at the fishing we did together. She completed her university and part of her Masters degree, became a full time CMA, employed with many government departments. In her capacity, she had the opportunity to travel and was fortunate to see so much of the country and world. Work wasn't her only forte; she also excelled in just about everything, but was really in her realm when working in the garden and around the home, becoming a Master green thumb. She was a great giver in the community, and served the Delta Hospice as a volunteer for many years, and recently a board member of Kin Village Association. She was a great presence in her home and with great sorrow, will be sadly missed. "Be at peace and say hi to Jennie Jack. We'll meet again at another time." I would be remiss at this time, if I would not show my gratitude for the support provided by the many Doctors, nurses and special staff of the VGH Emergency Unit.
