Lillie Mae Brown Harris, age 92, of Flowery Branch passed away Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012, at her residence following an extended illness.Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Scott Waters, the Rev. Randall Sullens and the Rev. Edmond Harris officiating. Interment will follow the service in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, and Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012, from 7-9 p.m. both nights at the funeral home.Mrs. Harris was born July 12, 1920, in Hall County, Ga., to the late Homer and Jesse (Giles) Brown. She was a homemaker and a member of Victory Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Harris; son, James Edward Harris; sisters, Grace Jones and Louise Teal. Mrs. Harris loved her family and has left a Godly legacy. She was the oldest active member of Victory Baptist Church, where she served for 50 years.Mrs. Harris is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rosie Mae and Leonard Rider of Flowery Branch; son and daughter-in-law, Russel and Kathy Harris of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Cecil and Dianne Harris of Pendergrass; son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Jan Harris of Murrayville; daughter and son-in-law, Geneva and L.G.
