BENTON -- Lillian Elizabeth Bolduc, 75, died Monday afternoon, Aug. 2, 2010, at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Waterville.She was born in Warren on Aug. 26, 1934, the daughter of William and Violet Agnes (Yattau) Putansu.She was educated in local schools and was a graduate of nursing school in 1979. She was formerly employed as a seamstress for many years in the Rockland area. She also worked as a bookkeeper for several years as well as a registered nurse at the former Willows Nursing Home in Waterville. She enjoyed singing in church, playing her guitar and piano, traveling and water sports. She also had her pilot's license to fly small planes. She was one of the church leaders at the New Life Apostolic Church on Water Street in Waterville. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. She sang with the "Swinging Beavers."She is survived by her husband, Clement A. Bolduc of Benton; a son, Timothy L. Benner of Rockland; a daughter, Violet (Lainy) Russo of Waterville; three stepdaughters, Pamela Kimball and Anne Lyons and Cathy Attaya and her husband Tim; two stepsons, Kenneth Bolduc and Dan Bolduc; three brothers, Kendall Chandler and his wife, Chantell, of Greenville, Wayne Putansu and his wife, Sue, of Clark Island and Leonard Maker and his wife, Terry, of Searsmont; five sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" Riley and Barbara Colson of Rockland, Rose Langille of Belfast, Peggyjean Sholtz and her husband, Richard, of Milwaukee, Wis., and Sylvia Rose Palmer of Waterville; two stepbrothers, Raymond and Barry Chandler of Connecticut; a sister-in-law, Rita Bolduc; six grandchildren; among her great-grandchildren are Seth, Emma, Tatum and Lily Elizabeth (Lillian's namesake); and by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.She was predeceased by sister Arlene Evverett, formerly of Belfast and brother Lawrence Maker, formerly of Owls Head.Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 6, at the Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, at the funeral home with Lillian's daughter, Violet, officiating. A luncheon will follow at 132 Water St. in Waterville. Everyone is invited. Burial will take place at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Maine Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, Mount Vernon Road, Augusta.
