Lenora Douglas Gowan SPARTANBURG, SC-- Lenora Douglas Gowan, 94, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2007, at Magnolia Manor of Spartanburg. A native of Laurens County, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Cramer Douglas and the widow of Jasper W. Gowan. She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God and a retired spinner for Drayton Mill. She is survivied by a son, Clifford B. Gowan and wife, Joyce, of Spartanburg; a daughter, Betty G. Davis and husband, Wayne, of Pacolet; a sister, Juanita D. Cooley of Grey Court; seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Frances G. Watts, and by one brother and two sisters. Cryptside services will be at 2:00 PM, Sunday, May 6, 2007, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum officiated by Rev. Larry Holland. Mrs. Gowan will lie in state at Bobo Funeral Chapel, Friday from 2:00-5:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00-1:00 PM for family and friends to visit.
