Lee Ann Purvis Smith - Glennville -Lee Ann Purvis Smith, 50, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at her residence. The Tattnall County native had lived in Glennville all of her life. She was a 1974 Graduate of Glennville High School and was employed with Tattnall County Tax Commissioner, Tattnall County Clerk of Courts and Georgia Department of Corrections at Rogers State Prison for many years before retiring. She was a member of Glennville Church of God where she was active in the Women's Ministry. She is preceded in death by her father, Harry Lee Purvis. She is survived by her husband, Donald J. Smith of Lyons; mother, Vernice Purvis of Glennville; sister, Kelly Brown of Glennville; nephew, Matthew Brown of Glennville; brothers-in-law, Wayne (Sophia) Smith of Lyons Sammy (Sheri) Smith of Albany, several aunts, an uncle, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m., Friday, January 12, 2007 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 13, 2007 at the Chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial: Glennville City Cemetery.
