BROWN CYR, LAURA MARGARET - The death of Laura Brown Cyr of Carlingford occurred on June 11, 2007 at the Hotel Dieu Hospital at the age of 52. Born in Perth-Andover she was the daughter of Beverly Sumners and the late Bud Brown. Laura is survived by her mom Beverly Sumners of Saint John, step-mom Verna Brown of Carlingford; daughter Michele Cyr and her fiancé Norman Laffelle Jr. of Bangor, Maine; three sisters Laney Sullivan and Rose Mary Brown both of Saint John and Lyn (Mike) Burley of Musquash; five brothers Eldon (Janice) Brown of Quispamsis, Brad (Sheila) Brown of Carlingford, Michael (Darlene) Brown of Nackawic, David (Lyn) Brown of Lincoln and Robert (Shelly) Hitchcock of Musquash. Resting at White's Funeral Home with visiting hours on Thursday June 14th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday June 15th at 1 pm from White's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Todd McGuire officiating. Interment in the Presbyterian Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations to the Southern Victoria Cancer Fund would be appreciated by the family.
