Larry John Davis, of Sloatsburg, NY, died May 18, 2004 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern a the age of 52. Born in Suffern, NY to John and Mamie Davis on February 6, 1952. He was preceded in death by his father John Davis, November 30, 1996, and his brother Edward Davis, April 11, 1989. A lifelong Sloatsburg resident, he owned his own business Davis Taxidermy Studio. He is survived by his mother Mamie Davis, his brother Wayne and wife Theresa Davis of Sloatsburg, NY, his son John Edward Davis of the Bronx, NY, nephews, Wayne Jr., Edward Davis, nieces Tina, Tiffany Davis of Sloatsburg, NY, Jessie Davis Hash of San Angelo Texas, great-niece Theresa Kosmidis, his aunt Dorothy Cook, of Marlow Oklahoma, and many cousins. Larry's Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM at Scarr Funeral Home, Inc., Route 202 Suffern. Burial will follow at Brick Church Cemetery in New Hempstead, NY.
