WILLIAMS, KENNETH J. Kenneth J. Williams, 54. Patient Service Assistant VA Medical Center died Monday, August 17, 2009 at his home following a short illness. A native of Savannah, GA. He came to Gainesville, from NY. in 2002. Kenneth was a former member of Mt. Olive AME Church and was also a veteran of the U.S. Army. Survivors include a devoted wife Freda (Trotter) Williams, Gainesville, FL daughter Sudequa Daniels, four grandchildren, Mia Shean, Jada and Jaiden, all of NY mother Mary J. (Johnson) Williams, Queens, NY, brother Curtis Williams, Fredericksburg, VA sisters, Sharon Williams, Long Island, NY Valerie Williams Fredericksburg, VA. Funeral Services for Mr. Williams will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, Aug. 27, 2009 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church with Rev. F. N. Gallmon officiating. Burial will follow in Jacksonville National Cemetery with Military Honors. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of CHESTNUT FUNERAL HOME 18 N.W. 8th Ave. Gainesville, FL. Visitation Wed. Chestnut Chapel 2:00 - 7:00PM and on Thurs. at the church on hour before the service. There will be no viewing after the eulogy. The cortege will form at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Williams 1002 N.E. 20th Ave at 10:15AM.
