Juanita Mae (Lone) Smith, 79, died April 16, 2006, at Indian River Memorial Hospital in Vero Beach. She was born in New Salisbury, Ind., and lived in Fort Pierce for seven years, coming from Indiana. Before retirement, she was a seamstress for Sienshimer Co. in Indiana for 11 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Port St. Lucie. Survivors include her daughters, Sharron McFarland of Georgetown, Ind., Liea Avritt of Midlothian, Texas, and Paula Sheil of Fort Pierce; son, Allen E. Smith of Ramsey, Ind.; sister, Geneva Sieveking of New Salisbury; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Smith. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3375 20th St., Suite 100, Vero Beach, FL 32960. SERVICES: A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. April 21 at Crossing Community Church in Fort Pierce. Arrangements are by Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
