WIGGINS Joyce Margaret (nee Askew) Sept. 1, 1924-Aug. 29, 2006 It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Joyce Margaret Wiggins after a brief illness at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital. Predeceased by her husband of 40 years Robert Alden Wiggins in 1993. Also predeceased by her father Walter and mother Francis, as well as brother Addison "Bill" Askew & wife Irene Askew and niece Margaret Askew. Loving aunt of Robert and Gordon Askew and families of Winnipeg. Sister in law to Ilene Fowler & Eric Gamble of Toronto; Shirley & David Young of Amherst, NS; Jim & Marlys Wiggins of Windsor. Will be missed by her nephews & nieces Ardyth & Michael Ellis, Newmarket, ON; Laura Young of Edmonton, AB; Ian & Shellie Young of Whitehorse, NWT; Clark & Gloria Wiggins of Windsor; Paul & Antoinette of Windsor; Gay & Aaron Amos of Arlington, Texas; and Steven Wiggins of Windsor and their families. After their marriage, Joyce and Bob built a home on Ducharme Street in Roseland where they spent their entire lives. They also loved to travel. Their trips together took them all over Europe on a scooter in the 60's as well as numerous trips in their motor home through Canada and the USA. Joyce worked at a number of positions with Canada Bridge but found her true calling as a volunteer at Huron Lodge where she spent over 30 years in the Tuck Shop. Joyce had a great love of animals and was always with a dog or cat of her own as well as a number of strays who came to visit and often stayed. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service celebrating Robert and Joyce's life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2006 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Victoria Memorial Gardens (Hwy. 3, Oldcastle). Now they start on Their New Journey Together
