Mrs. Joyce Karen Nelson - SAVANNAH - Mrs. Joyce Karen Nelson, 67, died on Monday, April 14, 2008 at her home after a four year battle with cancer. Mrs. Nelson was born in Michigan and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Kenneth Nelson and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed gardening and decorating. Survivors include four daughters and a son-in-law, Cindy Sutherland, Beth Sutherland, Brenda Terry and Robin and Pete Kribbet, all of Michigan; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Melinda Sutherland, David and Tina Sutherland and Bobby and Deb Canfield, all of Michigan; four sisters and two brothers-in-law; twenty grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Memorial Service: 11:00 A.M. on Thursday at the First Assembly of God Church in Savannah. Remembrances may be given to Island Hospice, 4A Skidaway Walk Village, Savannah, GA 31411.
