CAPE CARTERET, N.C./LYONS- Joyce Ann Fox, 74, of Sutton Dr. died Sunday (May 23, 2010) at Carteret General Hospital.The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday (May 26) at Jones Funeral Home, 407 Hammocks Rd, Swansboro, N.C. 28584. In lieu of flowers the family asks for memorial donations be made to the Western Carteret EMS, 140 Sherwood Ave., Cedar Point, N.C. 28584Joyce was born in Lyons, and was the daughter of the late Leon and Isabelle Studer Kane. She was an artist and a homemaker. She is survived by her husband of 56 wonderful years, George Allen Fox of the home; two sons, Gregory Fox and his wife, Anne of Tampa. Fla. and Brian Fox and his wife, Julie of Marion; one daughter, Lori Spangler and her husband, Jay of York, Penn.; one sister, Mary Cook of Tacoma, Wash.; and five grandchildren.She was predeceased by a brother, Wesley Kane.Private electronic condolences may be left for the family at www.jonesfh.org
