Joseph Brian WilliamsLate of Saskatoon, passed away peacefully at Royal University Hospital at the age of 92 on Monday, April 14 with his family at his side. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Betty, and his children, John (Bernice) of Saskatoon and grandchildren Angela, Tyler (Angela), Andrew (Ashley); Ken (Bettyanne) of Lanigan and grandchildren Cheryl (Binnson) and Jeff (Bailey); Carolyn Kauth of Whitehorse, YT and grandchildren Carla and Tyson; Don (Maureen) of Lanigan and grandchildren Madison and Blake and great-grandchildren Teagen, Brett, Ashlynn, Grayson, Parker and Louie. Brian is lovingly survived by his brother, Bob (Maxine) Williams and his sister, Anne Haugrud; brother-in-law, Hugh(Ruth) Tice and Betty's children, Michael (Michelle); Steve (Pam); Wendy(Dylan); Mark and numerous step-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers, Tom and Jack Williams. Brian was born on August 22, 1921 to Mary and Joseph Williams. He was raised on the family farm north of Lanigan and farmed continuously until 1993. On July 14, 1956, Brian married Winnifred Patricia Tice (Pat) and together they raised four children. During this time, Brian sat on the Credit Union Board, the local Wheat Pool Board, and was involved with the National Farmers Union. Pat passed away in 1990, which was a great loss to Brian. In 1992, Brian moved to Saskatoon and married Kay Smith and they enjoyed 15 years together before she passed away. Brian met and married the last love of his life, Betty Kritzer, in 2008. They appreciated the time they had together by celebrating each wedding anniversary in a special way. We will miss Brian's quick wit, his love for his family and his wonderful sense of humour. Funeral to be held at McClure United Church (1825 McKercher Drive, Saskatoon) on Wednesday, April 23 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
