WILLIAMS, John Walton, 83, of Tampa, passed away October 19, 2006. He was born in St. Paul, Minn., December 16, 1922. He made the U.S. Air Force a lifelong career, serving in both World War WII and Korea as a flight engineer until his retirement. After retirement, he was a self-employed Merchant Marine captain. He was a licensed commercial pilot and had a "competition license" in the Sports Car Club of America. He was a Lutheran. He was a dog lover, primarily raising German shepherds. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Irene; sons, Michael and Gavin; and grandchildren, Nicholas, Kate, Micah and Miranda. You may view and sign the guestbook at www.floridamortuary.net
