WILLIAMS, John Alex, age 91, of Lake Placid, died Wednesday, December 3, 2003 at his home. John was a native of West Virginia, born in Winifred November 22, 1912. He came to Lake Placid in 1973 from Chesapeake, West Virginia. John retired from DuPont Chemical Company. Along with his work with DuPont, John was also an ordained Baptist Minister. John is survived by his children, Don (Elaine) of Lake Placid, John I. (Judy) of Poca, West Virginia, David of Delray Beach, Florida, Daniel of Lake Placid, Douglas (Roxie) of Marmet, West Virginia, Alice Workman (Frank) of Valrico, Florida and Helen Sun Bradford of Lake Placid. He leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his wife, Pricy Jane Williams in 1985. Graveside services will be from the Oak Hill Cemetery in Lake Placid, Saturday, December 6 at 10:00 a.m. Rev Ray Sullivan of the First Baptist Church in Lake Placid will celebrate.
