John R. Williams, 65, died Jan. 2, 2008, at the VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach. He was born in Panama City and lived in Vero Beach for 38 years, coming from his birthplace. He was employed by First National Bank as the vice president and was a self employed residential contractor. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Vero Beach. Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Donna Beatty Williams of Vero Beach; sons, Justin Williams and John Glenton, both of Vero Beach, and Chris Williams of Jacksonville; daughters, Jessica Williams and Nichole Glenton, both of Vero Beach; sister, Cecilia Cullinan of Altamonte Springs; and one grandson. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3375 20th St., Suite 100, Vero Beach, FL 32960. SERVICES: A celebration of life service will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 6 at MacWilliam Park in Vero Beach. Arrangements are by Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach.
