Brockton John F. Jack Daley, of Brockton, formerly of Newtonville, died suddenly March 15, 2008, at his home. He was 64. Born and raised in Newton, he graduated from Our Lady Help of Christians High School and attended Boston College. For the past eight years, he had lived in Brockton and had worked at the Salvation Army Thrift Store and currently was working for Mainspring Shelter in Brockton. He had also volunteered with St. Pauls Soup Kitchen. Son of the late Francis A. Hank and Elizabeth T. Betty (Hart) Daley, he is survived by several cousins. Visiting hours will be in the Eaton & Mackay Funeral Home, 465 Centre St., Newton Corner, Friday from 4-6 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Calvary Cemetery, 250 High St., Waltham, Saturday, March 22, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Mainspring Shelter, 54 North Main St., Brockton, MA 02301.
