John Edward Davis, 81, of Russellville, Ala., died Friday, May 18, 2007, at Russellville Hospital.Mr. Davis was a native of Knoxville, Tenn., but had lived most of his life in Russellville. He was a member of Eastside Church of Christ, Russellville.The funeral will be Sunday, May 20, 2007, at 4 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home chapel, Russellville, with Johnny Richardson officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Memory Mausoleum, Russellville. Visitation will be Sunday, May 20, 2007, from 3-4 p.m. at the funeral home.Survivors are stepchildren, Ronnie Holland and wife, Shirley, of Hodges, Ala., Steve Holland and wife, Terri, of Russellville, Ala., Cyndi Jeffreys and husband, Don, of Ford City, Ala.; grandchildren, Shannon, Dallas and Roxanne Holland; great-grandchildren, Briley and Cody Holland.He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen (Kitty) Davis.Pinkard Funeral Home, of Russellville, is directing.
