Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 12:00 Noon from St. John A.M.E. Church with Pastor James E. Arnell, officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Serenity Gardens with Ross-Clayton Funeral Home, Inc., directing. Mr. Davis will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. He was preceded in death by his father, John W. Davis, Sr.; mother, Robbie L. Davis and brother, Arthur "Buddy" E. Davis. He is survived by his devoted wife, Lillian E. Davis and daughter, Angela (Alfred) Clark, Waldorf, MD; devoted sister-in-law, Lula K. Davis and niece, Versie K. Bickham; a host of grandchildren; great grandchildren; cousins; nieces and nephews.
