Joan Berry (Jody) Williams, 71, of 109 Ashmore Street, died February 23, 2008, at St. Francis Hospital Downtown.A native of Greer, she was a daughter of the late Alvin and Mildred Kelly Berry, a member of First Baptist Church Greer, and retired employee of the School System of Greenville County. Surviving is her husband, Thomas A. Williams of the home; two daughters, Trish Williams Proctor and husband, David K. Proctor, of Lexington, and Robbin Williams Neal and husband, Robin B. Neal, of Chapin; one brother, Steve E. Berry of Woodruff; and one sister, Toni B. Mace of Greer; and four grandchildren, William Proctor, Jessica Proctor, Layla Neal and Jason Neal.Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Monday in Wood Memorial Park, conducted by Dr. Rick Ezell.The family is at the home and will receive friends following the graveside service.Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Greer, 202 W.
