LAKE, Joan Mabel (Blondeau) On Wednesday May 2, 2007 in her 75th year after a long and very courageous battle with cancer, Joan passed away peacefully at the Hospice at May Court. Loving wife of Orville John Lake. Beloved sister of Frances Burke and Joyce Broadhead (Gilmour). Predeceased by sister Mary Lentz and brothers Donald, Lawrence, Jack and Bill. Close sister-in-law of Doris Blondeau and Irene Lake. Much loved aunt of Laurie (Bill Slaughter) and Eileen (Richard Hamelin) and of all her nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at a Memorial Visitation at the Daley Family Funeral Home, 6971 Bank Street, (between Scrivens Drive and Metcalfe Corner) from 12:30 - 1:45 p.m. Tuesday May 15. Funeral to follow in the Chapel for Service at 2 pm. Inurnment, Loucks Cemetery. The family wishes to express sincere thanks and gratitude to Dr. S. Gick, all of the Hospice staff and the C.C.A.C (Fran Banks, Ling and Sarah). In memoriam donations made to the Hospice at May Court would be most appreciated.
