Joan C. Hayes, 76, passed away Thursday at Laurel Bay in Greenville, S.C.Born in Hoboken, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Bernard and Angela Barchi Lachnict. She was of the Catholic faith.Surviving her are a son, Everett Walker of Laurens, S.C.; daughters, Denise Willingham of Greenville, Donelle Walker of Travelers Rest, and Doreen Knight (Chris) of Greenville; and five grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Edward Lachnicht of Glenrock, New Jersey.Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2009, at 3 p.m. at Graceland East Mausoleum Chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service.
