Jessie Mae Hill TIMMONSVILLE - Jessie Mae Bacot Hill, 94, died on Tuesday afternoon, August 26, 2014, in a Servics will be Friday, August 29, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Cartersville Baptist Church Cemetery, Timmonsville. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2:00 before the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Hill was born in Effingham, SC, the daughter of the late Archie D. and Eva Ham Bacot. She was a member of Cartersville Baptist Church. For many years, she worked at B.C. Moore Department Store in Timmonsville as a sales clerk. Jessie Mae was married to the late A.B. Hill. Surviving are a son, John Wayne (Doris) Hill, Lugoff, SC; four grandchildren, Rene' (Robert) Smith, Todd (Allyson) Hill, Dwayne (Fran) Hill, Jessica (Jamie) Burriss; seven great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Buddy, who died in August, 2013. The family would like to "THANK" the staff and caregivers of Southland Health Care for the loving care they provided her. Layton-Anderson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
