HILL, Jessie Christina (nee Ritchie) Tessie passed away peacefully at the age of 85 on February 21, 2010 in Ottawa surrounded by her loving family. Wife of the late Dr. Ross O. Hill, she is survived by her son, John and his children Ryan, Jennifer and Christine, daughter Patricia (Taylor Gray) and their children Kathryn and Jessica and son Bruce (Marie Dunlop Hill) and their children John Ross and Lindsay. Tess will be lovingly remembered by brothers-in-law Leslie Hill (Sally) and David Hill (Sandra). Born in Montreal, Tessie was the only child of Donald and Jessie Ritchie. Tessie was known for her fun-loving spirit, strength of character and her love of family and friends. We will all have our own fond memories of special times with Tessie. In lieu of flowers, and in Tessie's memory, please say I love you to those nearest and dearest to your heart. A special thank you to Debbie and the other remarkable team of caregivers at the Colonel By Retirement Residence in Ottawa. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the Outremont Chapel at the Mount Royal Crematorium, 1297 Chemin de la Foret, Outremont.
