ObituaryJeanne Helen Stone McPhee, 74, of N. Fort Myers, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2006. Jeanne was born in Somerville, MA and grew up in Weymouth, MA. She lived in the Fort Myers area for 54 years. As a young woman, Jeanne modeled clothes for Filene's and Crawford Hall. In 1950, she married her loving and devoted husband Bill. After Bill's service in the Marine Reserves was completed in 1952, Jeanne moved with her husband to the Fort Myers area. While raising her four children, Jeanne was active in the PTA, was a member of The Tropic Club, was an avid bowler and was the manager of Everglades Lanes (now Allstar Lanes) in N. Fort Myers for several years. She was a loving mother and doting grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.Jeanne is survived by her husband, William P. McPhee. Jr. of N. Fort Myers, seven sisters, four brothers, her sons, Jeffrey Scott McPhee of Riverview, FL and his wife Jill, Gregory B. McPhee of Cape Coral, FL and his wife Beth, her daughter Laura J. Owen of N. Fort Myers and her husband Kevin, her grandchildren, Jonathan and Jennifer McPhee of N. Fort Myers, Wendy Owen of St. Petersburg, FL, Cory, Katie and Barry Owen of N. Fort Myers and her great grandchildren, Zane, Talulah and David. Jeanne is predeceased by her son, Michael McPhee and grandson, Jason McPhee of N. Fort Myers. A service of remembrance and funeral will be held at Coral Ridge Funeral Home in Cape Coral, FL at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 20, 2006. A viewing will be held the day prior from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at Coral Ridge Funeral Home. Flowers and warm wishes are welcome.
