McKAY, Jean Peacefully at age 89, in Stoneridge Manor, Carleton Place, Ontario with family at her side, on Thursday, January 12, 2006. Jean Woods, beloved wife of the late William Alvin McKay. Loving mother of Betty and her husband Neil Lewis. Predeceased by her daughter Barbara Scott. Loving grandmother of Steven (Brenda) Lewis, Laurie (Pat) Scissons and Mark (Kim) Scott. Great-grandmother of Lyndsey, Kaitlyn, Kendra, Krista, Kenny, Robert, John, Ryan, Scott and Noah. Dear sister of Ellen (late Hugh) Smith and Tom (late Freda) Woods. Survived by son-in-law Jim Scott and sister-in-law Bet Labron. Friends may call at the Kerry Funeral Home, 61 Lake Avenue West, Carleton Place for visiting on Monday, January 16, from 11 a.m. until time of service in the Kerry Chapel at 1 p.m. with Pastor Doug Anderson officiating. Interment will take place in the spring at Dewars Cemetery, Ashton.
