Janet Lee Owen, 56, died Feb. 2, 2012, at Treasure Coast Hospice, Fort Pierce. She was born in Brookville, Pa., coming to Port St. Lucie in 1983 from Warren, Pa. She was a former secretary for the Warren County Library in Warren. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Scott Owen of Port St. Lucie; son, Zachary Owen of Port St. Lucie; brother, John Snyder of Warren; sister, C.J. Tisi of Titusville, Pa.; and mother, Ethel Snyder of Titusville, Pa. She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Snyder. Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 26 Broadway, 14th Floor, New York, N.Y. 10004. Services: Private services will be at a later date.
