YOUNG, JANE BETHELLake Mary - Jane Bethel Young, 86, of Lake Mary, FL, went to be with her Lord September 21, 2007. Mrs. Young was born in East Point, GA. Her passion was education and she retired as a reading instructor from Santa Fe Community College. Jane was also a former member of the First Presbyterian Church of Gainesville, FL. Survivors include son, Robert E. Bethel, Winter Springs, FL; daughter, Marijane Bethel, Casselberry, FL; brother, Fletcher Thompson, Marietta, GA; grandchildren, Elizabeth Bilenky Garber, Robert E. Bethel, Jr., Stephen J. Bilenky and Jeffrey B. Bethel. Private Graveside Services will be held in Atlanta at a later date. The family requests that in lieu of flowers a donation be made to the Santa Fe Community College Endowment, 3000 NW 83rd St., F-207, Gainesville, FL 32606.
