Jane Davitt Davis LAWRENCEVILLE - Jane Davitt Davis, 101, of Lawrenceville died peacefully on Friday at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Francis Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Titusville, PA, Jane was a resident of Princeton before moving to Lawrenceville in 1954. She retired in 1977 from Electro-Mechanical Research, Inc. of Princeton Junction after 40 years of service. Daughter of the late Patrick and Margaret O'Neill Davitt and wife of the late Burton Davis, Jane is survived by her sister, Margaret Bucceri. She was also the much beloved aunt to numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and also great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Jane on Monday at 11 a.m. at the Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Rd., Lawrenceville. Friends may call on Monday after 10 a.m. in the daily chapel at the Church of St. Ann. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceville Cemetery.
