Stephenson, James "Jolly Jim"Mar. 19, 1924 - May 13, 2013James Stephenson passed away on May 13, 3013. Preceded in death by his wife, Maureen, son Frederick "Rick" Stephenson, and daughter Rae Lynn Peterson. Survived by his son, Robin J. Stephenson (Michelle) and daughter, Randi J. Colligan (Bill); 8 grandchildren: Raechelle, Ryan, Megan, Leighanna, Rochelle J. Stephenson, Joey and Rhianna Rosko, DeAnna Hoffart and ten great grandchildren. A member of Epiphany Cathedral, Jim was a WW II Veteran having served in the Army Air Corps. He was a radio broadcaster for WPVL in Painesville, OH and WENG in Englewood, FL. Retired from the City of Venice as a School Crossing Guard. Before Jim retired, he was a volunteer at the Venice Library reading to the small children. He also participated and was a volunteer at the Venice Little Theatre -acting and singing in plays as well as later on helping to build sets. Services will be private.
