WILLIAMS, JAMES SORENCY "SMILEY", 74, of Louisville, died Sunday, February 28, 2010 at Norton Suburban Hospital. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and a mentor and friend to endless kids of all ages. He was the owner of Highland Hobbies and a previous employee of Louisville Motor Exchange and Jasper Speed Engineering. He was an avid car enthusiast, dragster car driver, a lifelong mechanic and a lover of all jokes and pranks. He was a member and friend of Okolona Street Rodders, The Buick Street Rod Association, the King Louie's Knights and St. Paul United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dr. Susan Kennon Williams, DMD and his parents, Charles Arch and Eunice Sorency Williams. He is survived by his daughters, Ann Marie Hannan (Chris) and Sara Sorency Carpenter (Timothy); his grandchildren, Kyle, Kourtney and Alyson Carpenter and McKenzie Shelton and his sisters, Ellen Johnson (Bob) and Arlene Clark (Walter). The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 4, 2010 at Bosse Funeral Home, Barret at Ellison avenues, with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation: 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
