James Ronald "Ron" Clark, 96, of Edison, N.J., passed peacefully on Sunday, May 13, 2012, in the Haven Hospice Unit at JFK Medical Center, Edison. Visitation will be on Friday, May 18, 2012, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a funeral service at 1 p.m., at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, N.J. 08863. Entombment will follow privately at Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway, N.J. For directions or to send condolences, visit www.flynnfuneral.com Born in Chatham, N.J., Mr. Clark was formerly of Neptune, N.J., and had resided in Edison for the last 35 years. He was a graduate of Newark College of Engineering. Mr. Clark was chief chemist for over 30 years with Congoleum Corporation, Trenton, N.J., where he was credited with obtaining several patents, before retiring in 1980. He was a member of The Clara Barton Social Club in Edison. Mr. Clark was predeceased by his wife, Olga Maria Clark, in 2010. He leaves behind his two daughters, Kathleen Weig and her husband, Walter, of Bloomfield, N.J., and Carol D' Lugo, and her husband, Marvin, of Massachusetts, and his grandson, Michael D' Lugo and his wife, Eve, of Orlando, Fla. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the New Jersey Commission for the Blind.
