James Phillips McMillan, 77, of Millville went home to be with the Lord December 26, 2011 at his residence after a brief illness. Born in North Carolina to the late Neggie McDonald and Jettie Cleo McMillan Lewis, he was a self employed excavator who owned his own excavating company Phillips Excavating for over 20 years. James enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. James leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife of 33 years Shirley McMillan, 1 daughter Carolyn Thompson, 1 step daughter Miya Miyamoto, 2 brothers Albert Lee McMillan and John Albert McDonald, 2 sisters Ellen Rogers and Veola Lewis 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
