James M. Fraley, CPA, age 69, of North Main Street in Mechanicville, formerly of Scotia, passed away at his residence on Monday, December 8, 2008. Born on January 9, 1939 in Albany, NY he was the son of the late Edward and Cecelia Novak Fraley. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a graduate of Christian Brothers Academy and the University at Albany. He was a certified public accountant who owned his own business in Scotia, NY and was a member of the AICPA. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and Rotary of Scotia. Survivors include three daughters, Christine and Jay Yager of Malta, Melissa and Bica Agguini of Nashville, TN, Heather Fraley of Charlotte, NC; three grandchildren, JT Yager, Kate Yager, and Elias Agguini; sisters, Agnes Kowsky, Jane Fusco, Judy Clancy; and a sister-in-law, Josie Fraley. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Ed Fraley; and his sister, Cecelia James. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Assumption/St. Paul Church (North Main St.) on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008, at 12 p.m. with the Rev. Keith Hollis officiating. The family will greet visitors in the church from 11 a.m. till noon. Burial will be in The Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery on Friday at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Home Delivered Meals, 59 Hetcheltown Road, Scotia, NY 12302 in his memory.
