CROSS ANCHOR, SC-- James Thomas Hindman, 81, formerly of 151 New Hope Church Road Enoree, SC passed away Saturday, June 3, 2006 at National Health Care Laurens, SC. A native of Spartanburg County he was the son of the late Charlie Roscoe and Leila Rhodes Hindman; he was a U.S. Navy Veteran having served during WWII, a member of the Cross Anchor Ruritan Club, worked with the Cross Anchor Fire Department and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.Survivors include one son, Dr. James Thomas Hindman Jr. of Spartanburg, one sister, Lois Taylor of Enoree, two grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews, one of whom is very special, Cheryl Taylor. Two brothers, Carl Hindman, Gerald Hindman and one sister, Clara Evelyn Hindman predeceased him.Visitation will be held 2:00-3:00p.m. Tuesday June 6, 2006 at Forest Hills Funeral Home prior to the 4:00 p.m. Graveside service to be held at Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery, conducted by Rev.
