JAMES A. DAVIS James A. Davis, age 87, of Kokomo, Indiana, formerly of Palm Springs, FL, Nettles Island, FL and Meadville, PA passed away on September 25, 2006. He attended Faith Presbyterian Church in Palm Springs, FL and Nettles Island Church in Jensen Beach, FL. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II serving on the USS Vestal in the Pacific Theater of Operations. He was predeceased by his loving wife Audrey (Shellenberger) Davis, brother (Dan) and father and mother. He leaves to cherish his memory one son John M. "Mike" (Susan) Davis, brother (Dan) and father and mother. He leaves to cherish his memory one son John M. "Mike" (Susan) Davis of Palm Springs, FL. One daughter Debra (George) Day of Kokomo, IN. Two grandchildren Megan and Aaron of Kokomo, IN and one great grandson Noah Parker Day. He will be missed by several nephews, nieces and a host of friends. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at 11 AM at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, Florida 33461.
