JOHNSON, Jacqueline Loretta (Logan) Passed away peacefully at Luther Court, Victoria, BC on Sunday, January 12, 2014. Jacquie was born in Victoria on September 30, 1927, the elder daughter of Duncan and Gertrude Logan. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Bernie in 1998, and their daughter Karen (Allen) Holliston in 2011. Jacquie was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, cousin and good friend. She is survived by her sister Francis Neely (Norman), Victoria, and her children Lorraine Ruddick (Barry), Glen Haven, NS; Bruce Johnson (Janice), Calgary, AB; Kathy Booth (Ian) and Duncan Johnson (Janet), Victoria. Nana is also survived by her much loved grandchildren Christopher Ruddick (Aimee), Halifax, NS; Jason Ruddick and Stephen Ruddick, Sydney, Australia; Colleen Dunn (Dennis), Dawson City, Yukon; Michael Booth, David Booth (Monique), Matthew Johnson and Kathryn Johnson, Victoria. She is also survived by three beautiful great-grandchildren, Esmee and Jude Ruddick, Halifax, and Rylan Dunn, Dawson City. Also left to mourn are her brother-in-law and sisters-in-law Richard (Sherrilyn) and Ritha Johnson, Westbank, BC, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. A remembrance of Jacquie will be held at Luther Court, 1525 Cedar Hill X Road on Saturday, February 1st at 2:00 pm with a reception to follow. The family would like to thank the staff of Luther Court for their compassionate care of Mom in her final years. Special thanks to her companion Margot for spending time with Mom.
