Jack Harold Williams, 70, Bradenton, died June 3, 2002. He was born April 6, 1932, in Niles, Mich., and came to Bradenton in 1998 from South Bend, Ind. He retired as an air traffic controller in South Bend. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War era. He was a Methodist. Survivors include his wife, Marian J.; a daughter, Rebecca DeMeester of Mishawaka, Ind.; sons Vincent of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Steven of Niles, Mich.; stepsons Patrick Murphy of Cincinnati, Brian Murphy of Chattanooga, Steven Murphy of Cambridge City, Ind., and Douglas Murphy of Indianapolis; a sister, Mary K. Wingeart of Cassopolis, Mich.; brothers Dan of Galien, Mich., Arthur of Cassopolis and Thomas of North Liberty, Ind.; and nine grandchildren. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, with a service to follow at 10 a.m. at Brown and Sons Funeral Home, 43rd Street Chapel. A committal service with military honors will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
