Irene V. Lambert, 87, died Oct. 16, 2011, at St. Lucie Medical Center. She was born in Ossining, N.Y., and lived in Port St. Lucie for 31 years, coming from Smithtown, N.Y. She was a homemaker. She was of the Catholic faith. Survivors include her husband of 67 years, George H. Lambert Sr. of Port St. Lucie; sons, George H. Lambert Jr. of Stuart, John Lambert of Melbourne and Ralph Lambert of Fort Valley, Ga.; daughter, Joyce Lambert of Fort Valley; brothers, Louis Galletto of Pawling, N.Y., and Gabriel Galletto of Port St. Lucie; sister, Lucy Veteran of Lake Winola, Pa.; 12 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Bruce Lambert; sister, Anna Chiulli; and brother, Ralph Galletto. Services: Services will be private. Inurnment will be in South Florida National Cemetery.
