THERIEN, Mrs. Helene (nee Duguay) At the Gatineau Hospital, Tuesday, January 20, 2009. Predeceased by her parents Marie Duguay and Joseph Duguay and by her husband Rene Therien (ex-mayor of Aylmer). Cherished mother of Gerry (late Linda) and Marc (Linda). Very dear stepmother of Ann (Gerry), Frank (Jo-Ann), Emile (Beth) and the late Rene Jr. (Shizuka). Dear grandmother of Patrick, Stephanie, Tania, Renee-Ann and Carolyne and grandmother by marriage to 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Azilda, Emilie, Regina, Liliane and Valmond. She will also be missed by her stepbrothers and stepsisters and by many nieces and nephews from New Brunswick and Lac St-Jean. There will be no visitation. A religious service will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 11 a.m. in St-Paul Church, 61 du Couvent, Gatineau (Aylmer). The family will receive condolences at the church from 10:30 a.m. A special thank you to the CLSC Grande-Riviere and the Gatineau Hospital emergency staff for their excellent care.
