Plant WorkerPLANT CITY -- Mrs. Helen Gordon Smith of Plant City died of heart failure Friday (April 29, 2005) at Brandon Regional Hospital. She was 62.She was born in Plant City. She was a retired plant worker at Tampa Bay Fisheries of more than 20 years. She was a member of Wings of the Living Deliverance of Plant City.Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, James Smith; sons, Gregory Smith, Lakeland, Darrian Smith, Plant City; daughters, Pamela Smith, Demetric Smith, Christy Smith, all of Plant City; brothers, J.C. Gordon Jr., Henry Gordon, Willie Gordon, all of Plant City, Ernest Gordon, West Palm Beach; sisters, Lucinda Tripp, West Palm Beach, Betty Severance, Alma Gordon, both of Plant City; seven grandchildren.Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mount Olive AME in Bealsville. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church. Coney Funeral Parlor.
