Hilda E. Gordon, 92, of Lake Helen, FL, completed her journey to heaven on August 16, 2012. Services will be held at 10AM Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Lohman Funeral Home DeLand. Family will receive fiends from 9AM until time of service. Interment will immediately follow the service at DeLand Memorial Gardens. Hilda was born in Champlain, NY to Louis & Maude Ebare. A spirited lady, Hilda loved to vacation with her sisters. Cooking and sewing were among Hilda's many hobbies. Meeting with the Joy Circle at church brought much enjoyment to her, but nothing could compare to the love she had for her family. Surviving her in death is daughter Donna Young Tracy husband David Tracy; three sons, Douglas Gordon wife Diana Gordon, Lawrence Gordon wife Angela Gordon and Roger Gordon wife Tina Gordon; sisters Jeanne Ebare, and Muriel Meere; eight grandchildren and five great-grand children. Preceding her in death are her parents, two husbands Francis E. Young and Walter L. Gordon, one sister Marian Gratton and three brothers Richard Ebare, Gerald Ebare and John (Jack) Ebare. In lieu of flowers, donations in Hilda's name can be made to Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia-Flagler. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.lohmanfuneralhomes.com.
