Helen M. Halloran, 67, formerly of Yonkers, NY and residing in Pawling, NY, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on November 24, 2006. She was born on April 15, 1939 in the Bronx to Daniel & Elizabeth (Russell) Fitzgerald. On August 14, 1959, she married Denis Halloran. Helen was a homemaker who was devoted to her children and grandchildren. Helen will be remembered for her sense of humor, generosity and kindness. She enjoyed spending time with her family and spending her mornings sitting out with her friends in Pawling. Helen is survived by her loving children Anne Marie Vignola of Hartsdale, Denis Halloran and his wife Renee of Yonkers, Daniel Halloran and his wife Ann Marie of Yonkers, Christine DeGennaro and her husband Peter of Pawling, NY, Elizabeth Halloran of White Plains. She was a beloved Grandmother to Daniel Halloran, Denis and Shannon Halloran and Caitlyn and Kelly DeGennaro. An adored sister to Daniel Fitzgerald of Del Ray Beach, Fl., John Fitzgerald and his wife Marie of New City, NY, and was predeceased by her brother James Fitzgerald. She is survived by her former husband and devoted friend Denis Halloran of Yonkers, NY. She was an aunt and great aunt to many. Helen was also blessed to have so many loving friends that she adored. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated for Helen on Tuesday at 11 AM at Christ the King Church in Yonkers with Interment to follow at St. Raymond's Cemetery in the Bronx.
