GEORGIA J. McGEHEE (NEE PHILIPS) HAMMOND, IN Georgia Jean McGehee (nee Philips), age 53, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2014 after a brave battle with cancer at the Community Hospital in Munster, IN. She was born on September 26, 1960 in Hammond, IN. Preceded in death by her beloved father George Philips; beloved in-laws: Richard (Janet) McGehee; and brother- in-law; Byron Russell (Rusty) McGehee. Georgia is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Richard McGehee; loving sons: Alex McGehee and Andrew McGehee; loving grandson, Aaron McGehee; loving mother, Carol (George) Duncan Philips; loving sisters: Teresa (Matthew) Argadine and Elizabeth (James) Naples; loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving family members. Visitation will be Saturday, January 18, 2014 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Main Chapel at Ridgelawn Funeral Home, 4201 West Ridge Road, Gary, IN 46408 (219) 980-5555.
