HEPHZIBAH, Ga.- Ms. Georgia Darlene Smith of Sandridge Court entered into rest Thursday, August 5, 2004, at University Hospital. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 10, 2004, at 1 p.m., at B.A. Williams Memorial Chapel with Elder Alvin L. Holsey officiating. Burial will be at Mount Olive Memorial Garden. Ms. Smith, a native of North Carolina, lived in New York many years before moving to Augusta five years ago. She was a member of Trinity Temple Church of God In Christ, Waynesboro. Survivors are her daughter, Deshawana Joyner, Hephzibah; two sisters, Beverly (Edward) Franklin, Hephzibah, Sandra Joyner, Augusta; aunt, Lillie Mae Freeman, Jamaica Queens, N.Y.; nieces, nephews, cousins.
