WILLIAMS, George Thomas November 7, 1922 - November 14, 2011 It was with our deepest sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our father Tom Williams (George Thomas Williams.) on November 14, 2011 after a journey of determination, courage and dignity. Tom was born in Abergavenny, Wales on November 7, 1922 and eventually settled in British Columbia with his family after 1957. Tom is survived by his loving wife Dorothy, sons Roger and Robert, daughters Lorraine and Pippa. He leaves behind his wonderful daughters-in-law Liz and Jeanette, son-in-law Christopher and his most precious grandchildren Holly, Sasha, Jade, Matthew and Connor. Tom was a World War II veteran who carved a wonderful life out for his family through his hard work as a painting contractor while pursuing his hobbies of reading, ballroom dancing and golf with passionate interest. His spirit and love will be eternally missed. Funeral Service will be held at the St. Frances Xavier Catholic Church, 790 Kilmalu Road, Mill Bay, B.C. on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 11:00 am with Father Sean Flynn officiating. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2011 from 1:30 to 3:30 pm in the Arbutus room at Arbutus Ridge.
