WILLIAMS, GREGORY MONTE, 37Ocala - Gregory Monte' Williams, 37, passed into the arms of Jesus, Thursday, November 21, 2013 in Atlanta. Gregory was a loving son, awesome brother and a great friend to many. He grew up in Ocala, graduating from Vanguard High School. He received his Bachelors Degree at Florida A & M University and then went on to obtain his Master's Degree from North Carolina State. He worked as a teacher and counselor in Florida, North Carolina and Georgia. His most recent position was a School Counselor in Fulton County, Georgia at Heards Ferry Elementary. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving parents, Ann Thomas Evans and George Evans, Jr. , Reddick, Florida; brother, David (Lohnna) Thomas, Ft. Bragg, NC; sister, Danielle Thomas, Atlanta, GA; nieces and nephews, Tatiyana, Arianna, Trenton, Breeona, Kingston and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.To share condolences with the family, please visit: www.hiers-baxley.com Mr. Williams will lie in repose Friday, November 29, 2013 from 10 - 11 AM at New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church, 606 SW Broadway, Ocala, Florida. Funeral services will follow at 11 AM with Rev. Stanley Jacobs officiating. Interment at Highland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 27, 2013 from 5 - 7 PM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala, Florida.
